This week on the Construction Record Podcast digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Association of Professional Builders co-founder Russ Stephens about the current and future state of the home-building market.

Stephens points to how digital technology has impacted residential building and how now any contractor also has to become their own marketer and social media manager if they hope to survive.

Ongoing labour shortages and increasingly fraught supply chains are also looming and Stephens points to a predicted downturn for residential building in 2022 along with suggesting ways builders can prepare for a dip in busines.
