On this episode of the Construction Record Podcast, digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Ehren Cory, the CEO of the Canadian Infrastructure Bank (CIB), at the Canadian Council of Public-Private Partnerships 2022 conference held in Toronto.
Cory discussed the reemergence of nuclear power in the last decade as a potential avenue for sustainable energy production, and also discussed the importance of both increased electrification and finding climate-friendly methods to export energy.
Cory also explained the criteria by which the CIB invest sin infrastructure projects and explained how the organization both dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic and decided new areas of emphasis.
