Welcome to our P3 wrap-special, featuring national managing editor Vince Versace and digital media editor Warren Frey hosting as they take a look at some of the highlights of the recent annual Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships (CCPPP) conference which wrapped up earlier in the week. Held in downtown Toronto, the conference brings together P3 experts, international delegates and stakeholders from a wide expanse of backgrounds to examine the potential of the public-private partnership model.
Warren also spoke to CCPPP president and CEO Mark Romoff about this year’s conference as well as Canadian Construction Association president Mary Van Buren, who looked at P3s through the lens of her membership. Van Buren also spoke about National Construction Day (Nov. 26), a new initiative to highlight the role of one of Canada’s biggest industries.
Vince also points to March of next year when both he and Warren will be on the ground in Las Vegas to cover Conexpo, one of the biggest construction conferences in North America. The conference happens from March 10 to March 14 and we’ll be bringing you updates throughout Conexpo including podcasts and video.
