This week on the Construction Record podcast digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Informa Exhibitions program manager James Wyatt and Informa Connect director of design and construction events Lisa Barnes about the upcoming Buildex Vancouver trade show.
Buildex Vancouver 2022 marks a return to an in-person event after a year of virtual programming and Barnes and Wyatt detailed how the show has changed to adapt to the new normal of COVID-19. Barnes also highlighted two new showcase exhibits, ReGrow and the Central bar that showcase sustainability and innovation.
Wyatt also explained how the keynote stage and educational sessions have adapted to new ways of presenting in a socially distanced world and Barnes said Informa’s global network of trade shows came together over the pandemic to create a series of best practices for in-person events.
